We select up to two curious, creative undergraduate students to join our research group each year. If you’re interested in applying, please email us with your class standing, major, a brief statement of interest, and a copy of your resume.
After you’ve been accepted to Virginia Tech, we invite you to join a team of talented researchers who are engaged in efforts to understand and advance the future of engineering education. We look for team members who have demonstrated potential for scholarly achievement. Our research group generally works with graduate students majoring in civil engineering, construction, education, engineering education, sociology, or statistics. We’ve also worked with students majoring in English and Public and International Affairs due to well-aligned interests.
